Our Core Activities:

Youth Development and Education Initiatives:

We implement programs that support middle school, high school, and college students, focusing on leadership development, academic achievement, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.

Grantmaking and Resource Distribution:

We award grants to non-profits and community organizations that address critical needs such as education, digital and health equity, housing, and economic development.

Small Business Training and Development:

We offer comprehensive training programs to equip small business owners with the skills and resources necessary for success.

Support for Justice-Impacted Entrepreneurs:

We develop programs tailored to individuals with criminal histories, offering entrepreneurial training and resources to facilitate successful reentry into society.

Partnerships and Collaborations:

We build alliances with local and national organizations to expand our reach and impact.

Research and Impact Measurement:

We conduct research to identify needs and opportunities within the communities we serve.

For over 26 years, the Black Chamber of Arizona (BCAZ) has been dedicated to improving the economic development of entrepreneurs and the communities we serve.

Our inspiration stems from a commitment to closing the racial wealth gap, mitigating poverty, and driving innovation, job creation, and wealth building. Through the Foundation, we aim to support more businesses and make a greater impact, ensuring economic empowerment for generations to come.
